Norma's mother, Verl Lovell, was a well known antique dealer from the mid 1950's. She opened a new location at 2114 P Street and put Norma in charge. Norma learned antiques on the job, but added her own interest - stained glass.

Custom windows were offered plus all equipment, gorgeous glass, plus lessons for hobbyists. In the meantime, Norma studied with local portrait painter and teacher Abe Nussbaum.

 

In retirement Norma has painted over 200 oil paintings of people and pets.
